RSVSR Where to Use Magnetic Decryptors in ARC Raiders Spaceport

Nail Shani's Deciphering The Data in ARC Raiders Cold Snap with a quick Acerra Spaceport route: decrypt the Fuel Control terminal, then the top-floor Arrival terminal, with low-risk survival tips for solo or squad.

I kept putting off Shani's "Deciphering The Data" because it reads like busywork, but once you've done it a couple times, it's basically a quick loop through Acerra Spaceport. If you're prepping your stash or comparing ARC Raiders Items, this mission is worth squeezing in for the Defibrillators and Trailblazer stims alone. The catch is that the Spaceport loves punishing anyone who hesitates, especially when ARC patrols and opportunistic players are both sniffing around the same buildings.

Step 1: Fuel Control Building terminal

First, drop in and move toward the Fuel Control Building by Rocket Assembly, just east of the Launch Towers. Don't overthink it—get there fast, then slow down at the door. Inside is usually dark, so tap your flashlight if you need it, but don't leave it on while you wander. People see that beam and they'll sit still, waiting. In the main room, hug the far side and work toward the southeastern wall. You're looking for a green-blue terminal. Hold interact until the decryption finishes, and watch for the little spark/short-out animation that confirms it counted. You can get knocked right after and it still sticks, so don't throw a tantrum if someone's camping the exit.

Step 2: Crossing to Arrivals without getting deleted

Second, head for the Arrival Building in the northwest. This is the part where most runs go sideways. The open tarmac is a shooting gallery, and it only takes one player with a long sightline to end your raid. Cut the angle. Use crates, trenches, and anything that breaks line of sight, even if it adds a minute. Also, listen for ARC drones before you commit—if they're already patrolling the front, swing wider and come in from a different doorway. A lot of folks sprint straight through the middle because they're "just doing a quest," and that's exactly why they get farmed.

Top floor decryption and smart loadouts

Once you're in Arrivals, skip the ground floor poking around. Go straight to the stairs or elevator and push to the very top level. Up there, look along the western wall in the bigger office area where the tall server-like racks sit in a row. The terminal you want is tucked between those machines and usually shows a yellow glow when you're close enough. Interact, let it finish, and the mission completes instantly—no extraction requirement. That's why a cheap loadout makes sense here: a basic gun, a couple heals, and enough ammo to swat a drone while you reposition. If things get hot, bail and re-queue; you're not losing progress, and you'll still walk away with the quest rewards, or you can save time by deciding to buy ARC Raiders Items when you'd rather focus on the next Shani steps instead of re-running Spaceport.
