The Waking the Grid quest in Arc Raiders takes you back into the Spaceport region for a short but multi-location objective chain. While it involves several stops across the map, the good news is that all objectives are relatively close together, meaning you can usually complete the entire quest in ARC Raiders Coins a single run.

Even better, you don't need to extract with any special ARC Raiders Items to finish it. That makes this quest very beginner-friendly and perfect for running a free loadout. However, since other Raiders may be nearby completing their own missions or looting, you should still stay alert and avoid unnecessary fights.

This guide will walk you through every step needed to complete Waking the Grid efficiently.

Overview of the Quest

To complete Waking the Grid, you must:

Activate security sensors in a guard tower

Start the security control center in the Departure Building

Search for traces of a security breach in the Arrival Building Data Office

All three objectives are tied to key structures within the Spaceport, and completing them in order will allow you to finish the quest quickly.

Step 1: Activate Security Sensors in a Guard Tower

Your first objective is to locate and activate a security console inside a guard tower.

The best and safest tower for this step is located on the western side of the map, near the Fuel Lines POI. This location is ideal because it's usually less contested and allows quick access to the objective.

Once you arrive:

Enter the guard tower building

Use the zipline to reach the top floor

Interact with the console at the top

After activating the terminal, your first objective will be complete. Be cautious while moving through the area, as other players may pass through while rotating between POIs.

Step 2: Start the Security Control Center in the Departure Building

Next, head toward the Departure Building, which is located within the same general region of the Spaceport map.

To approach safely, enter the building from the southern side. This gives you a clearer path to the objective room without unnecessary exposure.

Once inside:

Look for a large lobby area with a long desk on the ground floor

From the lobby, move forward and then turn left into a hallway

Immediately on your left, you will find an open doorway

Inside this room is a terminal you need to interact with. Activating it will progress the quest and update your objective list.

This area can feel a bit dark and enclosed, so take your time clearing corners before interacting with the terminal.

Step 3: Search the Arrival Building Data Office for a Breach

Your final objective takes you to the Arrival Building, located northwest of the Departure Building.

This step is slightly more involved, as you'll need to locate a breached entry point rather than a standard door.

To complete it efficiently:

Travel to the northwest side of the Arrival Building

Look for a damaged or breached entrance

Enter through this opening to access the Data Office

Once inside, you'll find a terminal where you must investigate signs of a security breach. Interact with the console to cut the wires and complete the final step of the quest.

At this point, all objectives for Waking the Grid will be finished.

Extraction and Completion

After completing the final terminal interaction, you are free to extract from any available extraction point on the map. There is no requirement to carry or secure any specific ARCR Items, so your only goal at this stage is to cheap ARC Raiders Coins safely exit the area.
